Grab a buddy or a date for three hours of clay and wine. Everyone will have a chance to play on the wheel, and our instructor will also teach you a variety of handbuilding techniques! Clay, wine, and firing costs are included in the fee. Wheel 101: November Session *Fall Workshop:* *Tuesday, November 10, 6-9 pm* * Cost: $30/person* Always wanted to try your hand at the potter's wheel? Need a quick refresher on that ceramics class you took in high school? Join us for a creative evening playing on the potter's wheel. Participants will learn the basics of centering clay and throwing bowls and cylinders on the wheel. Lead by an experienced teaching artist, this fun and informative workshop is designed for those who are curious about clay or want to further their skills without the commitment of a class. Clay, tools, and firing costs are included. Wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty. Youth Clay Class: Session 3 *Session 3:* *4 Wednesdays, November 18-December 9, 5:00-6:30pm* * Cost: $55* Ages 8-12. Your child will create functional and decorative work drawing upon their imagination and environment for creativity. Projects will provide students with an opportunity to find inspiration in area architecture and natural forms. Each young artist will learn various hand-building techniques and will have a chance to try the potter’s wheel. To register for this class, you must complete the registration form below and submit payment online using a credit card. Your registration is not complete until payment is received.
