There are two categories in this contest: one for those aged 12 and younger, and one for those aged 50+. Details are below. You can win great post office merch. The Young Person's HP Save the Post Office contest: Contestants must be age 12 or younger. Contestants should e-mail me a paragraph (at least three sentences) or more saying “Why I think the post office is important and should be saved.” Each winner will win a piece of post office merchandise (examples below). There will be two winners. One winner will be drawn at random from all young people entered who send at least a paragraph on the topic. The second winner will be chosen based on what I believe is the best original piece of writing submitted about why saving the post office is important. As part of the entry, I need to know the name and age of the young person entering, and the area (HP, Friendship, Shadyside, etc.) where they live. I’ll talk with the winners to find out which piece of post office merchandise they would like, and we’ll agree on a prize (has to be within my budget). Then I’ll buy the items and have them shipped directly to the winners.
