I agree with those who have commented that the worst thing about this situation is being approached by a stranger at odd hours of the day & night. Since this pattern of his (claiming a car break-down, asking for money) is now familiar to us all, I hope that everyone he approaches with this scam calls the police. Though he sounds shy & harmless, his crimes could potentially escalate. Roberta Shope Farragut Street
