To Mark Calendars Now, Re-Set Alarm Clocks, etc.: In the interval between Memorial Day and Labor Day, all the Sundays of June, July, and August, our Sunday morning service schedule shifts to a summertime pattern this year, replacing our regular 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. services with one Sunday service of the Holy Communion at 10 a.m. Our Church School Godly Play, Tween, and Youth group programs will on summer hiatus, but Nursery Care is provided each Sunday, 9:45 a.m. - 11:15 a.m. On one Sunday each month (June 8, July 15, August 10) a special Summer Children's Chapel program will be offered for elementary-aged children during a portion of the 10 a.m. service (and note that kids of all ages are welcome at services every Sunday!). Our Wednesday morning, 10:30 a.m. service of Holy Communion, followed by Rector's Bible Study, will continue on May 28 but then "break for the summer," with the schedule resuming on Wednesday, September 3. Choral Evensong will be offered Thursday evening in Ascensiontide, June 5, at 8 p.m., and Trinity Sunday afternoon, June 15, at 4:30 p.m. The Fall Schedule of Evensong services will then resume on Sunday, September 21, 4:30 p.m. "ROUND UP SUNDAY IS RENAISSANCE SUNDAY IN 2014!" Especially important for us all to circle Sunday, September 7th. The regular 9 a.m./11 a.m. Service Schedule resumes that Sunday, and the traditional "Round Up" extravaganza will be especially extravagant, themed to emphasize the "renaissance" and renewal of parish life following the 16-months of construction and renovation made possible by the "Opening Doors" Campaign. Bishop McConnell will be with us at the Churchyard Picnic following the 11 a.m. service to "cut the ribbon" and formally dedicate all the great work accomplished over the 2013-2014 year.
