Tomorrow, we will finally get to our Companion Planting class!!! Join me for either of two sessions: 9:30-11:30 am 6:30-8:30 pm Cost is $15/class, with sliding scale available for anyone who needs it. I am able to accept cash, check, credit card, venmo & PayPal. Companion plants help us to create productive gardens with a lot less effort than we'd otherwise have to use. Some plants just go together naturally, while other plants really don't get along. Whether you're using onions & garlic to keep insects away from your prized tomatoes, or planting flowers throughout your garden to aid in pollination, you're taking advantage of plant companions. This class will talk about the many benefits that plants can offer one another. Pollination, insect control, beneficial nutrients, and improved environment are just a few. We'll learn about plants that are natural friends, like carrots, basil and tomatoes, but we'll also learn about plants that really don't like one another, like potatoes and pumpkins. We'll discuss why, and how best to take advantage of those relationships. So, if you want to make sure that your garden is as productive as possible in the space you have available, be sure to join me for class this week. You will need to download Zoom.
