Hello Neighbors: There have been a lot of car break-ins on our street, Wellesley Avenue, between King and Negley, and in our neighborhood, and we have also been victims of theft from our (probably unlocked) car. --so I wanted to alert you all to the following: Yesterday at 4:30pm two people--a black man, approximately 30 years old, 5 feet 8, mustache and thin beard, in a big brown jacket with fake fur on the interior, the hood drawn up; and a black woman, approximately 18 years old, thin, about 5.4, in pinkish pajama-like pants and a thin parka--were casing the cars on Wellesley Avenue. The man walked on the sidewalk, the girl walked in the road, looking into each vehicle as she passed. I was walking my dogs and followed them to be sure that they were really doing this. They stopped at the bus stop and seemed to be waiting for the bus. I don't know if they got on. Please remember to lock your cars--there are people out there waiting for you to forget.
