I have just been informed that the copper pipe thieves are at it again. A few months ago, a friend on N.St Clair was knocked unconscious when investigating strange noises in his basement, and awoke to find all his copper pipe cut out. This morning the same dilemma was discovered at the apartment building of 924 Mellon. The culprits apparently broke in via the basement door, and this is their usual modus operandi, with a particular taste for homes that are clearly being renovated. A couple of recommendations have been made, and that is to either replace your copper with plastic, or to paint it all black, as this renders it pretty much useless in terms of resale. Cheer Brett
