Union Project Clay Case Crowdraiser is at 69% of Their Goal
Union Project Clay Case Crowdraiser is at 69% of their goal. Let’s help get them the rest of the way there! See the email below with the details… Best regards, Monica Monica Watt President, Highland Park Community Council Editor, HPCC Newsletter Co-Chair, House Tour Committee Co-Chair, Playground Committee Member, Beautification Committee Union Project's Clay Case Crowdraiser [Students create with the Clay Case in the classroom.]<http://cts.vresp.com/c/?UnionProject/6019e104b1/5ab4bca29b/5ebb0baa46> Help create 200 Clay Cases and put them in the hands of Pittsburgh children<http://cts.vresp.com/c/?UnionProject/6019e104b1/5ab4bca29b/077beded17> Since launching our Clay Case crowdraiser, we've raised 69% of our goal. Thank YOU for your help! We have $1,555 left to raise so we can create 200 clay cases and provide ceramics programming in Pittsburgh schools. We've been so moved by the support and response to this project, we decided to add a few new perks. Just this morning, we added ceramic work from our co-op and staff, and a special custom project from our Executive Director, Jeffrey Dorsey! [Mug, Saucer, and Plate Set] [Wide Vase] [Custom Dolls] [Set of Four Bowls] The Clay Case is Union Project's studio-to-go. We stock it with everything needed to create with clay - a work mat with instructions, real ceramic tools, clay, glazes, and the artwork can come back to UP to be fired in our kilns. <http://cts.vresp.com/c/?UnionProject/6019e104b1/5ab4bca29b/c2bac852c4>[Opening the Clay Case for the first time.]<http://cts.vresp.com/c/?UnionProject/6019e104b1/5ab4bca29b/c2bac852c4><http://cts.vresp.com/c/?UnionProject/6019e104b1/5ab4bca29b/c2bac852c4> When UP goes in to schools to offer ceramics programs, the Clay Case can come too. Our ceramic artist gives one to each student, teaches them about clay, and then children can bring the case home to share with their family. The Clay Case is mobile, it promotes creativity, and curriculum can be integrated into it to deepen the learning experience. Plus it’s a handy, fun tool that kids can take home, to extend that learning with their families! If we meet the campaign goal, we'll be able to provide more programs in schools, at low cost or no-charge to the school or students. We would also increase the number of schools that we work with and increase the number of students that get to work with clay and own their own Clay Case.
