The Open Door Market On May 18th "Garfield Farms" will open it's second Open Door Market from noon - 6pm. Garfield Farms is an extension of Open Hand Ministries and various churches and non-profit organizations. The purpose of Garfield Farms is to help people in the Garfield neighborhood learn to grow healthy organic produce on vacant and underused land. The Open Door Market is our first fund raiser. It will be held at the Union Project, 801 North Negley Ave. in Highland Park. The following is a list of some of what will be available. On the 18th we'll feature the addition of some specialty and heirloom tomatoes as well as a wide variety of hot and mild peppers.
