This is a message from Allegheny Alerts. The McKeesport COVID-19 drive-up testing site will begin testing of the public on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at 10 AM. The drive-up site is located at 455 Industry Road in McKeesport and testing is by appointment only. Individuals eligible for testing at the McKeesport site must meet one of the following criteria: • Have symptoms of COVID-19; • Have been in contact with someone that has COVID-19; • Work in a nursing home or long-term care facility; • Are a critical infrastructure worker, health care worker, or first responder; • Are a high-risk patient and have recently attended a gathering of 10 or more people; or • Live in a shelter or single room occupancy. Appointments are required and will be accepted starting Monday, September 14. Due to the limited test kits available, only 250 appointments are open each day. The site will conduct testing daily, Monday through Friday, from 10 AM to 4 PM. Residents can register online (an email address is required) or by calling 412-209-2262, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, to schedule a next-day appointment.
