Hello HIghland Parkers. We own the big tree on the corner of Hampton and Heberton that in past years was lit up with Christmas lights. It was a splendid sight that was visible all the way down on Highland. Over the year the lights have gone out, and our theory is that the high winds that whip the tree around have yanked the plugs out of each other. So now, sadly, just a few of the strings of lights are lit. Does anyone know someone who has a lift truck or cherry picker that could come by for an hour or so, and do some re-plugging in of lights, and tie the ends to each other in knots so they don't come un plugged again? We want to try this option first. If this doesn't work we would have to buy all new lights and re-string the entire tree, which we don't have the resources/time to do this season.
