"Make sure you file a report to alert the police.  I don't know what good it does, but it is better than nothing." When I go to public safety meetings and the police are encouraging (begging!) people to report crimes, they emphasize that resources are allocated TO each Zone and BY each Zone based on reported crimes. If it's not reported, basically it didn't happen. So, our Zone doesn't need as many police officers and cars, and the ones we have don't need to patrol those streets where there is NO crime.   pat
