from http://pittsburghpa.gov/publicsafety/article.htm?id=5894 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE PITTSBURGH, PA – The Pittsburgh Bureau of Police Graffiti Squad arrested tagger Jerome Charles today. Charles, 30, of Lawrenceville, turned himself in to the Municipal Courts Building shortly before noon. A mug shot is not currently available. Charles is charged with 65 counts of criminal mischief for his graffiti tag “CHU” painted throughout the City. The majority of his tagging was done in Lawrenceville, Bloomfield, and the Strip District, resulting in over $46,000 in damages. The arrest was made possible from a tip in 2014 when a witness watched him tag a box truck in Troy Hill. Detectives believe Charles has been tagging the City over the last five years.
