Hi neighbors - A few months ago, I shared a press release about a Google grant that was awarded to the Pgh Obama Academy PTSA for the creation of a maker space and digital science lab in the school (right down the street, on Highland Avenue). I’m excited to report that the maker space will be up and running for this school year, offering a whole new level of innovation to the education that the amazing teachers & staff at Obama are providing their students. I’m reaching out to the HP community because there are still some items that need to be purchased for the space, so we’re seeking donations via a DonorsChoose campaign as well as an Amazon wishlist.
