[Highland Park] Station Street Hot Dogs
Hello Highland Park Neighbors, In case you have not heard, I just want to let everyone know that Station Street Hot Dogs is now open for business. It has been resurrected by none other than Kevin Sousa of Salt of the Earth fame. Station Street is part of East Liberty history, and dates back to 1915. Stop by and check out their delicious dogs and fries. They are located at 6290 Broad Street, behind the Target building. This is a great addition to the scene in our neighborhood, so please check them out and give them support. They are open 11 to 11 Monday through Saturday, closed on Sundays. For more information, check out their web site: http://stationstreetpgh.com/ David Lagnese
Wow, neighbors - We just stopped in for a way-too-late impulse snack because of David's post....and boy, am I glad we did. Gourmet dog toppings - on top of the best dog I've probably ever had (custom made to their recipe in Michigan); duck fat fries (if you don't know what they are, use this as an incentive to go find out) - and they're planning to do draft beers and gourmet milkshakes. Dang. In a town known for its hot dog shops, this one is a total standout. On Fri, Feb 24, 2012 at 10:05 PM, David Lagnese <david.lagnese@verizon.net>wrote:
