Free Online Health Workshop for People with Chronic Illness
Vintage is a nonprofit agency that conducts Better Choices, Better Health workshops, a 6-week series designed for adults with chronic conditions (like arthritis, heart disease, diabetes, depression, etc.). This year, we have a grant to pilot the on-line version of the workshop. Our goal is to have 100 participants enrolled by June of 2017. To date we have 51 enrolled, so we are recruiting an additional 49 participants.
Vintage is offering a $50 Giant Eagle gift card for all individuals who complete the on-line class (participate in at least 4 of the 6 sessions).
The feedback that we have received so far from the people who have completed the On-Line program has been quite positive.
Many have commented on the flexibility of moving on your own schedule and own pace, in addition to good ratings on the presentation of the content.
