[Highland Park] attempted burglary: 6300 block of Jackson ?
At approx 9.30p on Tuesday night, someone attempted to enter our home through our side door. My wife, in the kitchen, heard the noise of the doorknob turning and the door itself jerked against the deadbolt. She thought it was me arriving home from the ballgame. Our dog also perked up at the noise and was poised just inside the door. By the time she realized it was NOT me and looked out the windows, whoever it had gone. A police report was filed. An important reminder for all of us, especially during these warm summer night, to keep our doors closed and locked. Also, don't ever think these kinds of things are too insignificant to report to the police. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Dan J. Martin . My car was gone through on Jackson Street on Monday night--nothing of value taken, just some spare change. But lock your car doors, too. Becky On Tue, Jun 15, 2010 at 11:46 PM, Dan J. Martin <djmartin@cmu.edu> wrote:
