FYI- Please be diligent about your deliveries! And CAN YOU HELP? I had 6 packages delivered and left by UPS to my private entrance foyer on N Saint Clair St on Thursday, 12/4/14 at 3:35 PM (I left my place at 3:15 PM that day and arrived back around 7:00 PM). Of the 6 packaged delivered at that time, 5 are missing and presumed stolen, potentially with some regular USPS postal mail as well. Of course, these packages were cyber weekend Christmas present purchases... Sigh! I filed a police report today, and have spent about 5 hours total on the phone with UPS and the shippers of the packages. Its heartbreaking and very frustrating. So... 1. I wanted to alert others to be on the look out for suspicious folks walking or driving up to houses and apartment building lobbies who want to steal your packages after they've just been delivered. 2. Pittsburgh Police have asked that if I hear of other similar cases to let them know and they will add that information to my case report. I hope this hasn't happened to anyone else, but if so: If you have any relevant information, please let me know. Thank you! _____________
