Happy New Year, neighbors! We are glad to announce that we will, again, be picking up Christmas trees in Highland Park, East Liberty and Morningside for a small donation to bring them to be recycled through the city this year. We are sorry for the delay to the announcement, but we have been trying to figure out how best to do this and still be safe for our girls and our neighbors. Another troop will be picking up in Shadyside and Point Breeze. Please look for the email to the neighborhood to be coming out in the next day, so please do not put your tree out for the trash, if you would like us to pick it up.. We would like to encourage everyone to *not* throw out their tree, even if we cannot pick it up, in order to decrease the amount in the landfills and excess emissions from the organic matter breaking down.
