Yoga Practice Space
Two friends and I are looking for a space to practice yoga in. We are currently practicing in a former yoga studio that closed because of the pandemic in March and will not reopen. The building owner had no other potential tenants so we entered into a simple Facility Use Agreement with him where we pay him $115/month for use of the space for yoga only, 7 days a week from 5 am to 11 am. The agreement is month to month with the caveat that it could end at any time if a full tenant is found, which looks to be the case now. We are looking for a similar arrangement in an empty storefront or other type of space. Our only requirement is that it be large enough to accommodate 3 socially-distanced yoga mats, have a hardwood-type floor (no carpet or hard tile or cement), normal heat and access to a bathroom. If you are a rental property owner with an empty space waiting for the right tenant, our respectful and clean use of the space could at least help contribute to your utility bills or mortgage while you wait. Happy to provide a reference from our current “landlord”. Note that this is NOT a commercial venture; we are not opening a yoga studio or running classes, it is for personal yoga practice only (basically to get away from our kids!). Please let me know if you have any leads. Sent from my iPhone
So sorry - I meant to say that we EACH pay the building owner $115/month for use of the space - for a total of $345/month. Willing to pay a similar amount for a new space - that should make a bigger dent in your utility bills than $115! 😊 Sent from my iPhone Begin forwarded message:
