Reminder: This coming Sunday November 1, from 2:00 to 5:00 pm, the East End/East Liberty Historical Society will offer a special event in the vacant store at the rear of the Trader Joe's building on Penn Ave in the Village of East Side Shopping Center. Lots of free parking. There will be refreshments and live musical entertainment. This event will feature displays of unique old-time photos and artifacts presented by several area residents including George Clark, Peggy Spangler, Ray Schinhofen, Carl Vitti, Pete Bolanis, and others. If you have items to share, please feel free to bring them for display. At this event, we will also ask attendees to sign up to help organize a major East Liberty Festival being planned for 2010.
