Hi Highland Parkers! My name is Carmen and I live at the bottom of Heberton Street.  I have an associates degree in Hospitality Management and Travel, and in the hunt of finding a job in that field I found myself working in the recreation department at a nursing home/rehabilitation center.  There I worked in the Dementia/behavioral unit caring for those who could no longer care for themselves. I am posting this because I am soon going back to school for Occupational Therapy, and have come to find that my personal care given in my past jobs has never been appreciated/utilized.  I am compassionate and hard working and looking to take care of the children or elderly in your families.  I want to genuinely care for these people/children, not babysit them.      My rates are generally $10-13/hour, ranging from the amount of kids OR level of care.  I have more experience with the elderly, but have been babysitting my whole life, so I'm really available for any type of home care needed.
