Just wanted to put some feelers out for donations and resources for the upcoming winter. I’m working on a list of free resources for food and clothing in the East End, mostly accessible by bus. If you have any leads in those two categories please let me know. I’m also collecting donations for new and gently used winter items: coats, hats, gloves, scarves, thick socks, etc. Other items that are always in need and greatly appreciated: underwears, baby wipes, water bottles, mini toiletries, especially deodorant, menstrual products, and reusable bags of any size. You can drop any donations off at my house on N Sheridan. These items will be going to East Liberty Presbyterian Church’s free Chapel Market, the women’s shelter, and East End Cooperative Ministry.
