We got hit by Monday's rain storm. Our basement was flooded by water backup and we had to remove all the tiles to dry. Now, we need to decide how to finish the floor and we are thinking to go with decorative concrete. Do you have any suggestions about basement finishing contractors or any other ideas to finish the floor? We have a guest room, which used to have a carpetting over the tile, a laundry room, a toilet, a furnace room, and a closet. By the way, insurance won't cover the damege, because the back up water with rain and sewer water mixture are surface water, and not considered as sewer water back up, which we had a coverage for.
