Fwd: Zone 5 Weekly Crime Report Aug 5 through 11
Hi Neighbors, Some people have raised concerns about the recent increase in car break-ins. My understanding is that it is not uncommon to see more of that kind of activity during the summer when the weather is nice and kids have too much time on their hands. Highland Park is a very safe neighborhood overall. We can protect ourselves from property crimes such as this by locking our vehicles and not leaving valuables in them. A representative from Zone 5 can answer your questions at our community meeting tomorrow (Thursday 8/13, 7 pm, St. Andrew's). BTW, this meeting is a potluck social, so please bring a drink for yourself and a dish to share!
