Highland Park listserv e-mails from Yahoo accounts
Neighbors, I took a look at my spam folder this morning and realized that all e-mails coming from Yahoo accounts to the listserv were in there. The reason given is that the e-mail can't be authenticated as coming from an actual Yahoo address. This obviously isn't true since I can see that the e-mail is going to the listserv. Not sure how to resolve this other than checking your spam folder whenever you see traffic from the listserv in your inbox. I thought I'd let everyone know about this. Reggie
This has been a problem since April 9, when Yahoo made some changes they intended to help prevent invalid use of Yahoo addresses. The change had the effect of breaking “traditional” mailing lists like this one, and as a result we had to configure the list server software to no longer make changes to messages when sending them through. It’s always the case that “unknown senders” could end up in spam folders. That’s just the way the Internet works these days. We do what we can to avoid that though. -Rudy On Apr 21, 2014, at 9:14 AM, Reginald LaFond <rflafond@gmail.com> wrote:

Thanks for the input Rudy (and Bill Ghrist). I think I may have found a solution. I added neighborhood@highlandparkpa.com to my Gmail contact list and so far, no listserv messages in my spam folder from yahoo accounts. Hopefully, this is a longterm fix.
