On Monday, April 6th around 9:30PM I finished doing laundry at the laundromat on Bryant Street (in the same complex as Bryant Street Organic Market). I live in the area and witnessed a man antagonizing the owner, sort of chasing the owner around his truck. The owner plead for help I believe. A fellow neighbor may have witnessed the same event, heard the owner yell and believed that the suspect had a gun and may have intended to rob the owner of the laundromat. I called 911 at this time, but since the incident did not escalate there was not much that could be done. I’m not sure what all can be done now, but please be alert and cautious at all times, especially in the evening. This was shocking seeing as Bryant Street is “up and coming” with the restaurants, shops and what not.
