We have, as do many HPers, a house with many old windows. We have a good window company installing storm windows/screens, but one of our windows is missing altogether. The previous owner took it out and apparently discarded it, plugging it up so as to install a room AC. We would like to have a real window that somewhat matches the rest of our windows, but are having a tough time time finding someone who can either retro-fit an old window from someplace like Construction Junction, or help us figure out what sort of new window we can install so as to match our older windows. The cost of building a new wooden window from scratch to spec is prohibitive, but I suppose if that is what it comes down to, that is what we will do. In the meantime, I am exploring other options. Anyone have any suggestions/comments/recommendations? Thanks, Val
