Hi Highland Park, I am seeking a carpenter who can repair the fascia on a large corner of my back porch roof. Can anyone recommend someone? I've contacted the people in the tradesperson's list and got no answers to voicemail, etc. Maybe the job's too small... Also, I could use some advice on whether/how to make the parties responsible for the damage to my porch roof accountable. A certain utilities company had a low-hanging drop wire attached to my porch roof, and a trucking company snagged it, resulting in the new, very visible "low-rent-look" to my home. The insurance company threw me less than a hundred bucks for the damage. So to sum up, can anyone help with: 1. carpenter recommendation, and/or 2. advice on handling property damage issues?
