House concert January 26- Zachary Lucky
We are THRILLED to announce our first Highland Park house concert of the year with the amazing Canadian singer-songwriter Zachary Lucky. The concert is January 26th FROM 7-930 PM . Our address is 1232 N Highland Ave 15206 (it is right across from Tazza D’Oro. For over ten years, Zachary Lucky has steadily been building a name for himself on Canadian and International stages alike often performing hundreds of shows every single year. He has performed at festivals such as the Regina Folk Festival, Dawson City Music Festival and Mariposa Folk Festival in Canada - and at International festivals such as Wickerman (Scotland), Latitude (UK), the Static Roots Festival (Germany) and has twice been an official showcasing artist at Folk Alliance International. Award nominated songwriter Zachary Lucky is unapologetically old-school country, armed with a husky, baritone voice - He often receives comparisons to songwriters such as Gordon Lightfoot and Kris Kristofferson. He sings of Canadian places and people as knowingly as he might Townes Van Zandt or the Rio Grande. It's a relatable show on many levels, and conjures universal feelings that have passed through our collective timelines. Already hailed as a master storyteller by outlets ranging from No Depression to The Globe and Mail, Zachary is becoming a legend in his own right and has safely reserved his spot at the table of Canadian roots royalty. Over the course of his career, Zachary’s music has been featured in numerous television shows and movies - most recently in the Netflix series “The Ranch”. You could also hear his songs featured in shows such as “A Summer Romance” (Hallmark Summer Movie), Arctic Air (CBC) and Continuum (Showcase).
