If you are a current or former parent of a Pittsburgh Public School student or students and have experiences or problems and frustrations that you would like to share please contact me. My family has experienced recurrent problems with student safety related matters as well as with a lack of accountability from staff and administrators up to and including the superintendent's office. Although I've been quite vocal about addressing these issues, my complaints have fallen on mostly deaf ears and have netted zero progress or results. We are considering private school and I'm interested in communicating with parents who have pulled their children out of PPS to pursue alternative avenues of education.
