[Highland Park] Burglary on Negley
I am posting this message on behalf of my friend Jim Gallagher. Sometime between Monday 8 PM and Tuesday 8 AM, his house was burglarized. The unusual thing about the burglary was the items that were taken. The leaded glass from his entryway, the fireplace in the Living Room and 9 bronze wall sconces were the items that were stolen. He lives at 1006 N. Negley and just recently put his house on the market. If anyone saw anything in that area or has information, please let me know. I am also curious to know if any other homeowners have experienced burglaries similar to the unusual nature of this one. Thank you. Christy Fitzpatrick
Sometimes criminals use Real Estate photo-tours on-line to target homes for stealing antique fixtures. So, if your house is on the market, be careful and lock-up/alarm at night. Sorry to hear about it! -----Original Message----- From: neighborhood-bounces@highlandpark.pgh.pa.us [mailto:neighborhood-bounces@highlandpark.pgh.pa.us] On Behalf Of christy Sent: Thursday, October 26, 2006 8:57 AM To: neighborhood@highlandpark.pgh.pa.us Subject: [Highland Park] Burglary on Negley I am posting this message on behalf of my friend Jim Gallagher.
