My car was broken into in the 1200 block of Winterton St. The thief seems to have used a screwdriver or something to jimmy one of the door locks and gained entry that way. Money seems to have been the thief's objective -- they took all the change they could find (there was no change lying out in plain sight, but the thief found $7.00 or so worth of quarters in the center console), plus a small flashlight, but left everything else. This was a good reminder not to leave anything of value in the car. --Chris Schroen
