Thanks for all of the helpful knowledge of thrift store drop-offs . . . .so I thought perhaps someone out there might also be able to assist with a recommendation of a different sorts. I am in need of a professional seamstress to make a number of alterations on a dress for a wedding. . . I was considering calling Lucy Sipe's Sew Discrete, from a postcards I'd picked up at Tazzo's, but due to the cost of the dress and the work that needs done, I would feel more comfortable if anyone personally recommends her work, or another alterations shop.
