Hi neighbors! I wanted to extend an invitation to all of you about the grand opening of the Habitat for Humanity of Greater Pittsburgh ReStore at at Edgewood Towne Centre (flyer attached). The Habitat for Humanity ReStore sells reusable house building and home improvement materials to the public. The store accepts donated goods which are sold at 30%-50% of the retail value. All proceeds from the sale of donations help place local families in affordable housing in the Greater Pittsburgh area. The ReStore provides an environmentally and socially responsible way to keep good, reusable materials out of the waste stream while providing funding for Habitat’s community improvement work. The ReStore is located at: 1635 South Braddock Avenue Pittsburgh, PA 15213 Directions: Take Exit 77 off I-376 East and follow the signs to Edgewood Towne Centre. We are located in the shopping center between the new Burton's Total Pet and the Hook Fish & Chicken across from KMart. Even if you are unable to attend the ReStore opening, please consider the ReStore if you would like to make a donation or are looking for opportunities to volunteer.
