Hello Neighbors! This year marks the 15th Anniversary East End Cooperative Ministry's Orr Compassionate Care Center. This program provides a safe, welcoming place for men and women to recover after being discharged from a hospital after illness, injury, or surgery. The Orr Center is located in the heart of East Liberty (right behind Eastminster Presbyterian Church) and has been an important part of the community for fifteen years. EECM is celebrating this big birthday with a Community Barbecue. I hope you'll join us! Community Barbecue Sunday, September 21, 2008 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM Orr Compassionate Care Center (just behind Eastminster Church, and above East Liberty Family Health Care Center -- you'll see the tents) The menu includes chicken, ribs, greens, cornbread, lemonade, and (of course) birthday cake!
