Is anyone willing to make up a flier to distribute around the neighborhood? Many people don't even know about this list serve...we could use the flier to help people not get ripped off, and also introduce them to the wonderful service this list can offer. A young friend of ours recently realized she was a victim of the scam last week. She got home at 2:45 AM and a man came out of the trees near the corner of Bryant and Portland. He said something like ,"Don't worry, I'm not a rapist or a mugger." Our friend said he was really convincing, but she was scared and gave him 20 bucks as she rushed to her house.

Sat. evening 8/13 he convinced a family in the 6500 block of Jackson St. to give him money. Apparently he should win an oscar for his convincing performance. They were totally convinced that he lived down the street somewhere!
