my kid, who will be 18, was rehired for a second year at J&R (jcc) day camp but with the same pay as last year, when she was a 17yo CIT. we are encouraging her to negotiate for more. she was hired this year as a DEI counselor, it’s a promotion. they love her. anyone’s kid work a FT day camp counselor job? this one has some sleepovers. it’s a ton of exhausting (but she loves it) work. i’m looking for pay comps but can’t find any so far. thanks for any intel, feel free to dm. joy
