Hello Highland Park residents, In the past few weeks, there have been a few emails on the listserve seeking informal evaluations of the public school options in the area. Having recently heard a presentation from a Board of Education representative at a community meeting, I am aware that they offer a number of avenues for parents to learn about the schools. In addition to their online descriptions and a paper guide, the Pittsburgh Public Schools offer open houses, bus tours and names of current parents who are willing to speak about their experience.
