Hi, The East End Community Thrift Shop is open Tuesdays through Fridays from 10am to 4pm. Saturday hours are 12 noon to 4pm. The address is 5123 Penn Avenue in Garfield. Starting the beginning of June, the EECT will also have a furniture thrift store two doors away. This is an expansion that will aid the neighbors and the community even more. When you drop off items, you will receive a tax deduction slip for tax purposes. The EECT is a long-time entrepreneurial venture for the Thomas Merton Center. Shirley Gleditsch is the manager.
