Free lecture / dialogue! Farm to table meal!
Hi neighbors - I wanted to alert you to a free lecture June 8 4:30 pm that is part of our larger sustainability conference here at your neighborhood seminary (PTS)! Fred Bahnson, director of the Food and Faith initiative at Wake Forest and former founding director of Anathoth Community Garden, and Norman Wirzba, professor of theology and ecology at Duke, will be in conversation with each other, and you're invited: *"From Nature to Creation: What Difference Does it Make?"* For more info, see http://www.pts.edu/slc_2015. Following the lecture, we're hosting a farm-to-table meal with Chef Kevin Sousa and our own Chef Tom Barnard! Tickets are selling briskly - multi-course, BYOB, menu being finalized as I write this (but trust me, it'll be good!). $30/pp. http://www.pts.edu/F2T2015 Questions? Email me at my work address - hblier@pts.edu, or call 412 924 1345. Hope to see you there! your friendly neighborhood continuing ed director, Helen Blier
