I am looking for recommendations for new HPCC Board members. I am looking for 5-10 people from the neighborhood who are interested in taking a leading role in the community activities that promote and enhance the quality of life in the Highland Park area. Any Board member should be willing to attend the 10 meetings on the 3rd Thursday of each month (except July and December), be willing to discuss issues that come up, and to help out with HPCC activities. With the completion of the planning process of the Community Plan, it is now time to begin working on the recommendations that have been developed from the planning process. Please let me know of any neighbors or friends who will make a good HPCC Board member. Ideally, they should be nominated at the August meeting on the 21st, so they may be voted on at the annual meeting in September.
