Gardening class: Pruning: Hows, Whens, Whys
Hello all! This week's From Planning to Canning: Gardening on the Cheap class is all about pruning: evergreens, perennials, flowering shrubs & trees, grasses, fruit trees. You name it, we're likely tackling it! This will be a hands-on class, and the Union Project has graciously agreed to let us use their grounds as our classroom. Since they've got a little bit of everything, you will be sure to get instruction and experience with exactly what you need for your own space! Though class usually meets 6:30-8:30, lack of light may interfere near the end of that time. Therefore, I will be on site beginning at 5:00. This will also allow for more individualized instruction. Feel free to attend for as long/short a time as you wish. If you have your own gloves, pruning tools, etc. please feel free to bring them along. (Because of safety and access, we will not be utilizing any gas, battery-powered or electric tools.) Class is $10/person, payable via cash, check or major credit card. No cost for those on a limited income. (If the weather interferes, we will meet in our regular location from 6:30-8:30 with a general "Bring-All-Questions-and-Concerns" class. Contact me for location.) Please contact me with any questions! Rachel 412-251-9759 P.S. There will be no class next week, May 3rd, as I will be performing in The Book of Ruth. https://allevents.in/pittsburgh/the-book-of-ruth-shavuot-shpiel/100004469098... (Shameless plug!)
