Charlotte Gardner of the BBC has called Gabriel Faure's Requiem " one of the most sublime works in the sacred classical canon." The Parish Choir of St. Andrew's Church, with the Pittsburgh Festival Orchestra, under the director of Tom Octave, Director of Choral Music of St. Vincent's College, Latrobe, will present the Requiem in the context of a choral service of the Holy Communion, to observe a conclusion to the octave of All Saints: All Souls: A Commemoration of All Faithful Departed.
