There was an injured cat mentioned yesterday near North Beatty and Highland Ave. If may have been the same cat which injured our neighbor near Highland and Stanton. The cat is grey, with white paws and white chest (or similar, I didn't see him/her). Thinking that this cat was our indoor cat which had escaped, our kind neighbor spent quite a bit of time trying to help the cat, laying out food, etc. As a result, she unfortunately wound up with some painful and serious injuries. We are therefore trying to discover the identity/whereabouts of this very frightened animal, in hopes of both helping the cat, and finding its owner to learn whether the cat is current on vaccinations, etc., so we can help our neighbor and possibly keep her from having to complete the series of rabies vaccinations and other treatments she is now undergoing.
