Thank you to the Highland Park and Friendship community for the outpouring of help and support you all extended regarding our chuppah. I tried to thank each and every one of you, but if I missed anyone, please accept my thanks now. Special thanks to all three Barbaras who showed us how to make the canopy and the frame and let me try out their poles. The chuppah is now finished and we will be using it next Friday May 27. I would like to extend an invitation for anyone who would like to borrow it after the wedding, free of charge. I'd hate for all of that work to have it used only once and just sit in the closet gathering dust. It is a free-standing chuppah which requires no one to have to hold it.
