Hi neighbors: I was wondering if anyone affected by the power surge on 2/26 had gotten Duquesne Light to release the police report from the incident? (A car struck a utility pole on Stanton Ave that morning around 7:30) We're having a heck of a struggle with our homeowner's insurance company and need the police report to move forward. Unfortunately, Duquesne Light is simultaneously denying responsibility for the surge and resisting releasing the information that could help us get our appliances back and pay for the electrical damage in our home! If anyone had any experience or information about this incident, I'd be most grateful to speak with you about it.
