Please join me for a walk in Highland Park on Wednesday, June 21, 2006 starting at 6:30 pm at the fountain (Highland Avenue entrance to the park) and lasting about 2 hours. We'll definitely hit a new trail or two on this walk! Keep an eye on the weather report: the weather report for Wednesday is mixed right now so it could be rainy (and muddy!). If there is a thunderstorm or heavy rain we will cancel the walk. Please note that information published in the Parks Conservancy newsletter is wrong again: the walks in Highland Park are on the *3rd* Wednesdays throughout the summer this year. The dates are correct on their web site: <http://www.pittsburghparks.org/> This walk is just one in a series of the weekly "Walks in the Woods" in the four major Pittsburgh parks sponsored by the PPC.
