This is something of a last minute announcement, as the arrangements have just come together, but: At the St. Andrew's "Coffee and Conversation" hour, at 10 a.m., "in between the 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. services," tomorrow, January 20, we will be talking with St. Andrean Maryellen Hayden.   Maryellen has been especially in our thoughts and prayers following the tragic death of her colleague (at Action United, Pittsburgh) and friend Ka'Sandra Wade.  I'm sure we've all continued to follow the story in the news. Maryellen has been very involved in the public conversation about domestic violence and the appropriate training and response of public safety personnel, and she can share some with us about what is going on in that area. Perhaps more importantly, though, Maryellen is leading a team of friends, colleagues, and community members who have been supporting Ka'Sandra's family, and most especially her son Zaire (who was in our Godly Play class and with the Chorister rehearsal last Sunday).  There are some immediate concerns about support for Zaire, and there is also a longer-term effort to provide scholarship and support for him in the future.
