[Highland Park] Organ Concert
At St. Andrew's Church, in the Highland Park neighborhood of Pittsburgh -- Sunday evening, September 18, 2005, at 7 p.m. Joseph Nolan, Organist of Her Majesty's Chapels Royal, St. James Palace, will present a program including J.S. Bach's Fantasia and Fugue in G Minor, Reubke's Sonata on the 94th Psalm, and an organ arrangement of movements from The Planets, by Gustav Holst. Mr. Nolan has recorded on the ASV, Herald, and Priory labels. He has performed at St. Paul's Cathedral, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, and St. John's College, Cambridge. He also teaches organ at the Royal College of Music, London. Tickets at $15 may be purchased at the door. St. Andrew's is located at 5801 Hampton Street, between North Highland and North Negley Avenues, one block south of Bryant Street and four blocks south of the park, in the East End Pittsburgh neighborhood of Highland Park.
